The Finnish 3-masted
barque, the FRED, built in the Aland Islands in 1920. The
barque in the last days of the sailing ship has three masts,
the fore and main masts square rigged, the mizzen mast fore
and aft rigged. The Fred was one of the last big wooden
square rigged sailing ships ever to be built. National
