the British barquentine Waterwitch

The British barquentine Waterwitch, built at Poole in 1871. The barquentine was a vessel of three or more masts, square rigged on the fore mast and fore and aft rigged on the others. The Waterwitch was the last square rigged sailing ship registered at a port in Britain to carry cargo for a living. She made her last voyage with coal from the Mersey to Falmouth in 1936, and was sold to Estonian owners.
